To say that I am immersed in aviation and love all aspects of it is an understatement. I learned to fly before I learned to drive, even though I qualified as a multi engine pilot, aerobatics was my passion when flying.
My career has been with Graff Diamonds Limited 1975 to 2020. From a small shop to the very highest, global multi million pound jewellery entity it is today. I managed Graff Aviation Limited when the company acquired their first aircraft, a Lear 35A in 1984, the company then progressed to the Lear 60, Global XRS and now a Global 6000 vision. I was involved with the aircraft purchase specification, construction and delivery and continued to oversee the management for many years, giving me an extensive insight into all aspects of private aircraft management and charter operations.
My tenure at Graff in various guises had me involved in several departments and therefore I bring a wealth of expertise across all aspects of business and aviation.
In my spare time I volunteer as a Community First Responder and have done so since its inception in London 2009. That has certainly proved its worth during the pandemic and has made for a very absorbing couple of years. I was proud to be accepted, by Her Majesty as a Member of the Most Venerable Order of St John of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem.
